First, we believe in transparency. We want everyone to know exactly where the money that is donated goes, and if there are ever questions about that, we welcome you to ask.
The money we raise will be used to help medical personnel, including doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and students of these disciplines, to pay for the costs associated with doing global medical service work
These costs will include travel (both international flights and local travel), overseas food/water and lodging, travel vaccinations, and medical supplies.
Each year there will be some costs associated with keeping the organization running, these will include costs of filing paperwork with the government, legal fees, website costs, and in the future paying salaries to officers and other employees deemed necessary to effectively run the corporation.
Any person with a degree in a healthcare field, or a student pursuing a degree, who can demonstrate financial need in order to do a medical mission trip, where they will provide free medical services to under-served populations, may apply.
The purpose of the mission trip must be to primarily provide medical services, including medical care, health education, or addressing public health needs, and must be in an under-served community in the world.
Our main focus is to reach underprivileged communities in third world countries; though, a medical service trip seeking to serve any population in the world who does not have regular access to medical services will be considered.
This organization is partnered with individuals and organizations of religious and non-religious backgrounds. The primary purpose of all trips should be focused around addressing medical needs; however, showing love and compassion, and bringing hope and healing through other modalities, such as religion or music, increases the effect we have on communities, providing that these other modalities are respectful of all individuals in the group and most importantly, respectful of the cultural and religious beliefs of the communities being reached.
Individuals and groups of any religious or non-religious background may apply providing the primary focus remains medical service.
